Ingredients
For the Brownie Cake:
- 1 cup unsalted butter 🧈

For the Ganache Topping:
- 1 cup heavy cream 🥛

Directions
1️⃣ Prepare the Cake
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
2️⃣ In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix it with the sugar until smooth.
3️⃣ Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
4️⃣ In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
5️⃣ Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
6️⃣ Fold in the chocolate chips evenly.
7️⃣ Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
8️⃣ Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
9️⃣ Let the cake cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
2️⃣ Make the Ganache
🔹 In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
🔹 Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
🔹 Let the ganache cool slightly, then pour it over the cooled brownie cake, letting it cascade down the sides.
🔹 Allow it to set before slicing and serving.
